Perpetuating the Legacy of a Legend.
Since 1986, the Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Foundation has been supporting Hawaii’s young men and women who embody what Duke believed in and stood for: Education, Athleticism, and the Aloha Spirit. In honor of Duke’s 125th birthday, we are raising funds to continue the important work we do—furthering the education of Hawaii’s student athletes, supporting athletic events that encourage competition and sportsmanship, and perpetuating the legacy of a legend.
A New Digital Presence in 2016
The Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Foundation will be sharing a new responsive site that helps perpetuate our mission and values with the community. We will debut with the Digital Waterman’s Hall of Fame Hawaii, share our Ambassadors of Aloha, and immerse visitors into the life and legacy of the legend, Duke Kahanamoku.
We will help our community apply online with simple, easy-to-use applications for grants and scholarships, keep up to date with events, and connect with the latest on social media.
